Blog Entry Sept. 19th. Write of Passage Presents "Piece Out"

This past week at Kingston’s Trolley Museum of New York, an event took place honoring the origins of subway graffiti. Write of Passage, a global educational platform discussing graffiti culture partnered with the museum to host Piece Out, an opportunity for writers to paint a vintage NYC subway car legally. Curated by writer/folklorist Sacha Jenkins, Piece Out opens up a dialogue that explores the history and impact of American graffiti on global culture. EWOK, SP.One, REAS, SYE TC 5, WANE COD, CHINO and KEO were invited to Kingston to participate in the exclusive event which is a prelude toward an expansive program coming in October at the Red Bull Studios in New York.
